After four years of running my business on my own, I’ve decided it’s time to add a first proper member to my team. With the business always evolving and new exciting projects coming up in 2016, the time is now right for an adaptable and experienced administrator to help me to develop the business further.

It’s a role that would work across all my business portfolios and initially focus on administrative work and social media.

The role

To cover administrative tasks: course booking confirmations, answering e-mails and follow up e-mails.

Social Media – with support create content for our social media, schedule and answer any queries

Updating various databases

Newsletters

Ad hoc administrative projects depending on business needs

The scope

Initially 10-15 hrs a week

Work across all businesses focusing on WowThankYou,  Handmade Business, Handmade Kent and bookings for Cocoa & Heart

The business

Cocoa & Heart – chocolate & bread baking workshops & handmade chocolates

WowThankYou – handmade marketplace for designers, makers and crafts people based in UK with over 550 sellers

Magdalena Marsden – business coaching, SEO training & online SEO courses

Handmade Business – directory and hub for creative people in UK

Handmade Kent – directory and hub for businesses based in Kent

The person

Must be self-employed

Excellent customer service skills including great written and verbal communication skills

Good awareness and working knowledge of social media (mainly Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest)

Be proactive and work on your own initiative (you will be working remotely and under your own steam)

Good computer skills (PC, Windows, Excell)

Be willing to learn and able to pick up new skills

These skills would be an advantage:

Creative background

Working knowledge of WordPress, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, Tweetdeck

 

The Location

This is a ‘virtual’ position, so wherever you like! But if you live in South East London or Kent, we could meet up for coffee once in a while…for a business planning (of course!)

The Rate of Pay

This is a self-employed/freelance position, so please apply with your rate of pay. And of course, we can discuss this at your interview.
